Caryn M. McGrath began her career in the Financial Services Industry in 1996 after graduating from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance and Accounting, with a minor in Economics. Since that time, Caryn has built a solid history in the Financial Services industry, boasting a broad range of roles and experience, all concentrated on Customer Service.
For almost 20 years, Caryn’s experience has evolved from Customer Service Representative, where she built a strong financial services knowledge base, to Manager responsible for various problem resolution and operational teams to Vice President of Client Services, accountable for all service components of top-tier mutual fund management companies.
In her last role before joining Baystate Financial Services, Caryn served for 11 years as a Vice President of Client Services at the Bank of New York Mellon in Transfer Agency Services, providing support for Mutual Fund Companies and their shareholders. She was responsible for all components of the Transfer Agency relationship for Mutual Fund Companies including client problem resolution, large-scale project management, and managing teams of specialists whose functions were to service accounts, process trades, and produce written shareholder correspondence.
Caryn joined Baystate Financial Services in January 2012 as the Office Manager for Dwayne K. DeMond, CFP®, ChFC®. Caryn is responsible for all facets of client service, including establishing new accounts, servicing existing accounts, answering client questions, and assisting with clients' online access. Caryn is a Registered Representative of MML Investors Services, LLC.
Caryn’s focus is on utilizing her past experience in customer service and financial operations in playing an integral role in supporting Dwayne and our clients in reaching their financial goals. She is a lifelong resident of North Attleboro and currently resides there with her husband Jason and two sons, Ethan and Jackson.
